Queen Elizabeth II was Queen of the Uk from February 6, 1952, up until her death on September 8, 2022. She was the longest British monarch in foreign history. She was Queen for 70 years and 214 days.


When her father King George VI died in February 1952 Elizabeth became Queen at only 25 years old. Now, she was the head of the commonwealth. During, the course of her reign, she had many breakthroughs such as the divorces of her children especially King Charles III. When King Charles III and Lady Diana Spencer divorced there was a lot of criticism towards her and King Charles III.


During her reign, she has served more than 170 prime ministers throughout the Commonwealth and met 13 US presidents.


Up until her death on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96 her eldest son King Charles III inherited to the throne with his wife Camilla as the Queen Consort. Her funeral was held on Monday September 19th at Westminster Abbey in central London.
