Baylee Guedes graduated from Wilkes University with a major in Communication Studies obtaining a concentration in Multimedia Journalism, as well as a minor in Sports Management.
Baylee was involved in The Beacon Newspaper and WilkesNow TV as well as being a member of both the women’s basketball and softball teams at Wilkes. She currently works at Camp Freedom as the Multimedia Production Manager as well as running her own company, Baylee Guedes Media. Baylee has always had a passion for media production and has turned that into her career.

"Baylee Guedes Media is a company that I started during college as I continued my passion for media. I graduated with a degree in Communication Studies with a focus in Multimedia Journalism and a Sports Management minor. My love for media started from a young age and I have been creating content for as long as I can remember."
What type of services do you offer? What type of events do you photograph/videograph?
"I offer a variety of services including photography, videography, graphics, and editing. I have a broad range of events that I capture, including but not limited to sporting events, concerts, engagements, weddings, couples shoots, candids, portraits, headshots, graduations, pets, products, real estate, families, nature, animals, etc. I am always looking for new clients to book. You are also the Host of Baylee’s Bleacher which is a podcast about sports! Who are some of your favorite sports teams?
"Hosting my own sports podcast gives me the opportunity to consume an array of sports media as research. I have always had my “born-into” favorite pro teams, which include the Steelers, Phillies, 76ers and the Flyers. For college teams, I enjoy the University of Michigan and the University of Oregon. The Oregon Ducks became a favorite of mine from a young age. I absolutely loved their softball teams and it was my dream to play there. The Wolverines became a favorite of mine a few years ago strictly based on their hockey program, but that love expanded to their other sports teams as well. My podcast has allowed me to broaden my love of sports and has given me an avenue to stay involved in the sports world."
What are your bets for March Madness?
"March Madness has already been quite crazy right out of the gates. For men’s basketball, I have North Carolina and Purdue in the Championship. For women’s basketball, I have Iowa and South Carolina in the Championship."
Do you have a favorite sports moment?
"My current favorite sports memory was when Caitlin Clark beat the all-time scoring record for NCAA D1 basketball for men’s and women’s. It was such a historic moment from this season. I talked about this feat on my podcast!"
Who are some of your favorite athletes?
"Currently, some of my favorite athletes include Caitlin Clark, Luka Doncic, Jack Hughes, Dustin Poirier, TJ Watt, Nick Bosa, Bo Nix, Joe Burrow, and Kelsey Plum."
