A 16-year-old beauty creator from Toronto, Canada, is making significant strides in the beauty community through her engaging product-focused 'Get Ready With Me' (GRWM) videos. Outside her online persona, Reave is a diligent junior in high school with a focus on business studies. Her leadership qualities are evident as she captains both her school’s cheer and dance teams. Her involvement extends beyond the classroom and the internet; she is an active member of her school's interact club, affiliated with Rotary. Here, she dedicates time each week to volunteering at food banks, senior centers, and participating in community-wide activities. She also collaborates on international projects with students worldwide.

Have you always been into beauty?

"From a very young age, I was exposed to beauty products. I started competing in

dance around the age of five and on stage you wear a full face of makeup. I

started learning about different beauty, techniques, and products. Eventually, I

started doing my stage makeup on my own and then I just got really into beauty!"

What are some beauty tips?

"The number one thing I always tell people is to find out your face shape as well

as skin type. This is going to help you figure out what products will work for your

skin. Also, which places you need to contour and highlight to help enhance your

natural features!"

Do you have any favorite makeup products?

"Since I’m always trying new products from different brands, my favourite items

tend to switch up often. Currently I’m obsessed with the Benefit Cosmetics 24hr

Brow Setter & the Makeup Forever Artist Color Pencil."

What is your mission in sharing beauty content on social media?

"My mission is to normalize textured skin. One thing that’s not publicly shown in

the beauty industry is real skin. I’m not afraid to talk and show my acne prone

skin on camera. It has been a really big struggle and insecurity of mine and I

want to help shine a positive light on textured skin."

What is some advice for people that want to create beauty content?

"Be authentic, engage with your community & have fun! All three of these tips will

not only help you grow on social media but will allow you to have a positive

experience. Being authentic is super important because your audience wants to

see the real you. Engaging with your community is one of the most important

things. Responding to comments, interacting with other creators, and tagging

brands are all things that can help your account & content. Lastly, have fun and

show your creativity!"

What is your dream collaboration?

"There are so many amazing brands that I would love to have the opportunity to work with.

One goal I have for this year is to be on the cover of Girls Life Magazine. This is

a magazine that I used to read as a kid, so to have the opportunity to work with

them, and be the face of their magazine would be a dream!"

How do you juggle your work & school?

"Being involved in so many clubs &projects can get stressful at times, but I stay

motivated by finding joy in all the activities I do. I also surround myself with

positive & motivated people. Constantly being around supportive friends and

family helps me manage my time well and keep a positive attitude."

What is your beauty routine?

"My routine switches up constantly depending on how my skin is acting that day.

Currently I do my makeup in six easy steps. Moisturizer, concealer, contour,

blush, mascara & lip oil."
